The hub has already invested over £250,000 building a children’s nursery providing financial stability and a much-needed service and jobs to the local area. To deliver its vision the hub requires improved facilities to support the diverse and growing membership.
Delivery is split into two phases:
Phase 1 will see new fully accessible modular changing rooms installed in 2021 with money raised already the hub and from sportscotland. The remaining funding will be secured from EB Scotland (landfill).
Phase 2 will create a new social space as the heart of the hub with some funding already in place from the hub and sportscotland. The remaining funding will be sought from EB Scotland, Schools Charity Board, Falkirk Council, Robertson Trust, the Postcode Lottery and the National Lottery.
Our target is different to other local community halls who mainly deal in birthday parties and group bookings.
